Are IKO Dynasty shingles impact-resistant?
Dynasty shingles are Class 3 Impact Resistance-rated roofing shingles. This may allow homeowners to obtain a reduction in their residential insurance premiums.*

How many different colors do IKO Dynasty shingles come in?
Dynasty shingles are available in 12 high-definition color blends to suit almost any style or color of home. Some popular Dynasty shingle colors include Granite Black, Summit Grey and Brownstone.

How many bundles are there per square for IKO Dynasty shingles?
Dynasty’s True Square Advantage ensures a genuine 100 square feet of coverage in every set of three (3) bundles. Dynasty’s Advantage Size guarantees that each bundle consists of precisely 20 shingles, totaling an exact 100 square feet. What is the difference between IKO Dynasty and IKO Nordic products?
Dynasty and Nordic shingles are both part of IKO’s Performance Collection. While they share many common characteristics, Nordic shingles contain a polymer-modified asphalt, allowing it to achieve an upgraded Class 4 Impact Resistance rating (Dynasty shingles have a Class 3 Impact Resistance rating*). What is the ArmourZone?
All Dynasty shingles feature the ArmourZone which can be identified on both the front and back side of each shingle.
On the front of each Dynasty performance shingle, there’s a 1 ¼-inch-wide nailing surface that guides roofers to place their nails accurately for improved fastening strength and speedier installation.
On the back of each Dynasty performance shingle, you’ll see a tear-resistant reinforced woven band that’s designed to help prevent nail pull-through and shingle blow-off.
