Synthetic Underlayment
Our RoofGard-Cool Grey rolls are lighter and easier to handle than felt rolls, making it faster to install. The synthetic, non-breathable material is easy to install around vents, dormers, and other roof structures too. And since it’s grey instead of black, it absorbs less of the sun’s radiant heat. Lay lines printed every 1″ (2.5cm) aid in shingle course alignment.
All values shown are approximate. This product is a vapor retarder, so the airspace beneath the roof deck should be properly and thoroughly ventilated to avoid risk of moisture condensation.
