President’s HSE Award – Calgary
Monday, November 23 2020
Calgary, AB – November 23, 2020 We are pleased to announce that IKO Calgary is the latest recipient of the President’s Health and Safety Award.
This award recognizes an Operations facility who has worked 200,000 hours (equivalent of 1 year for a plant with a staff of 100 employees) without incurring a recordable injury. Calgary reached that significant milestone earlier this month.
IKO Calgary is the seventh plant to have received this prestigious award in since its inception, and the second this month, joining our recent announcement of Blair Rubber’s achievement. It is gratifying to the senior leadership of our organization that the list of recipients continues to grow, demonstrating the commitment to the health and safety of our employees across our North American operations team.
Please join me in congratulating Aaron Holmes, Dan Redmond and the entire IKO Calgary team on this significant accomplishment. The commitment and leadership of the plants who have achieved this prestigious award continues to be a source of pride and to set a standard of excellence for our other plants to strive to join our recipients in reaching such a significant health and safety milestone.
