President’s HSE Award Blair Rubber
Thursday, November 19 2020
Seville, Ohio – Blair Rubber – November 19, 2020 – We are pleased to announce that Blair Rubber is the latest recipient of the President’s Health and Safety Award.
This award recognizes an Operations facility who has worked 200,000 hours (equivalent of 1 year for a plant with a staff of 100 employees) without incurring a recordable injury. Blair has reached that 200,000 hour threshold in October.
Blair is the sixth plant to have received this prestigious award in since its inception, and second this year, joining CRC Brampton, IG Brampton, IKO Hillsboro and IKO Sylacauga and IKO Sumas. We continue to take pride in the ongoing commitment at all of our facilities to emphasize the importance of safety in our operations. The success of these plants is proof that with the teamwork and dedication to improving our safety record, we can achieve outstanding results in Health & Safety in our sites.
Please join me in congratulating Gregg Reinmann, Dave McInnis and the entire Blair Rubber team on this significant accomplishment. As I’ve said before, the hard work and effort that goes into making our workplaces a better, safer place for our employees every day is shared by all sites, and the leadership of those that have achieved this award is an outstanding example to all of our facilities.
